Men prevent gout


Gout patients are mostly men over the age of 40. Study found that vitamin C seems to reduce uric acid levels in the blood, so adequate intake of vitamin C, may be able to effectively prevent gout. Compared to draw less than 250 milligrams a day of vitamin C in men, drawing 1,500 mg of vitamin C per day in men, the chances of gout symptoms appear reduced by 45%.
